I map the menu key to synapse, been doing that for years on every desktop I use. A touch quicker than overview & it's become natural for me.

I retired the 'window Buttons' because of it.
Next favorite has to be 'Maximus'. I used to modify my themes to do what it does, this is much easier.
Maximus is truly the awesomest!
Another I've grown to really like is 'quick close from overview', instead of the middle button, I mapped it to the right-button, which is much more intuitive for me.
I only just removed 'window buttons' last night because I realized it was no longer being used.
