ChocoLatte by cbowman57 ChocoLatte by cbowman57
A blast from my past. My first theme for gnome shell. Gtk developed with Sam Riggs for use on his Old Steampunk Theme. The Gtk is no longer compatible with later versions, if someone has the time, skill & inclination to bring it up-to-date I'm sure it would be appreciated.

A complete Gnome shell suite
Contains:
Shell theme
Gtk theme
Metacity theme
Cinnamon theme

Going to take a  look at it see what can be done. Not promising anything, but it caught my eye and am a fan of brown! Looks cool and would be nice to see it work with newer software 3.8 and 1.8. Soon as get anywhere with it will post back. Would drop it off to you as it was originally your idea! Have a bit of time these days as no employment seems to come my way!!! Just want to help when I can so others can enjoy their desktop as much as I do!!!

Thanks Bob, I look forward to seeing what you do with it.

I'd been thinking about revisiting it when 3.10 comes out, but that's weeks away & is dependent on my time & inclination.  =)

Ooooh, this showed up in my DevWatch as an updated version. Did you update something in it? *hopeful*

No, just moved it to my 'featured' because I saw parts of it revived, and was hoping somebody might want to adopt it.

Sorry for the false hope.  =)

Lol, no problem. :D I hope somebody does take it and do something with it. I'd love to see what kind of spinoffs result.

looks nice Charles. Hopefully someone can update it. don't you just love it when you spend time on a theme and things change to the point they no longer work? It's why I just do walls for the most part. :)
