Carbon Mesh-Arch-Slate Wallpaper
A recolored version of Karl Schneider's wallpaper to go with the Slate theme.

The file is LARGE (about 25MB), so make sure you have the bandwidth before you click on Downloads.
Gnome shell suite for 3.22 (& 3.23.3)
Gtk themes derived from current Adwaita
MATE & xfwm4 compatible
(May look OK on Unity & openbox, untested)
Sardi Ghost Flexible icon theme by Erik Dubois  colored to compliment the theme
If you use Arch, there is also a wallpaper by Karl Schneider included

* Tried the entire theme on my Archlinux Gnome 3.20 installation and it looked good without breaking anything from what I could tell

Change Log:
Gtk2 updated to latest Adwaita-dark format
Improvements to Gtk2 menu-radio & menu-check assets
Other small Gtk2 tweaks
Gnome shell theme updated for 3.23.3

Gnome shell theme updated for 3.23.2

Fixed the sizing on check & radio boxes Gtk2

Added a couple of my conky configs.
Created gnome-shell-theme.gresource file.  You can now have a Slate-3.22 GDM login screen & run Slate-3.22 as the default (replaces Adwaita) shell theme.

1) Backup your /usr/share/gnome-shell/gnome-shell-theme.gresource file
  a) Something like sudo mv /usr/share/gnome-shell/gnome-shell-theme.gresource /usr/share/gnome-shell/gnome-shell-theme.gresource-ori will do.
2) cd into the Slate-3.22/gnome-shell folder, copy gnome-shell-theme.gresource into /usr/share/gnome-shell
  b) sudo cp gnome-shell-theme.gresource /usr/share/gnome-shell should do it (Or use your file manager with root access)
Updated image GDM login if you use the gnome-shell-theme.gresource file
(I've provided the .xml file so if you follow the instructions here… you can modify the GDM wallpaper.  MAKE SURE YOU MAKE A BACKUP!!)

Improved look of Gtk2
Added Metacity theme
Added xfwm4 theme
Hacked on openbox theme a little but don't know how it looks

Got some hover action in Nautilus working (probably in other apps and file managers as well)

Gnome 3.22 release
Minor tweaks to media portion of shell theme

Numerous tweaks to GTK theme
Should be 3.22 ready
More work on gtk2 assets
A few minor changes in the gkt3 and shell themes, very minor
Completely recreated the gtk2 theme from the basic Adwaita.
Please give me some feedback if you run across anything that looks really odd.
Adjusted some selection background colors
Improved look of disabled/insensitive entry backgrounds in gtk
Minor/major tweaks throughout gtk3, gtk2 and shell themes (still a bit of a WIP but looking pretty good)
Made some progress on the gtk2, more closely resembles the gtk3 theme now
Fixed some button :hover in the shell theme

Personal Quote: Damned if you do, damned if you don't
  • Drinking: Double shot latte
It has been occasionally brought to my attention that my themes don't display properly on Ubuntu & some derivatives.
My shell themes are matched to their appropriate GTK as released by Gnome & Archlinux.  For best results you may have to mix & match the shell theme to a previous GTK version.

Ubuntu 15.04 to Include GNOME 3.14…
